Established in 1996, TfC is a Centre for Social, Cultural and Historical Research, promoting innovative interdisciplinary research that transforms understandings by intervention in matters of concern both locally and internationally. Its research teams rapidly develop new conceptual frameworks, methods and partnerships in response to practical problems. TfC produces high quality academic research of practical use in industry, professions and communities.

Call for Papers for an International Symposium: Cities Nature Justice: dialogues for social sustainability in public spaces, 10-12th December 2008. Submissions are invited for papers which contribute to new cross-cultural dialogues on social sustainability. See the link above for further details.
